Getting a break from day-to-day
responsibilities is important to all of us. At
Huntington Place
, we offer respite stay for when your loved one needs more time
to recover from a surgery or transitioning from the hospital to
home. Respite stay also provides a period of relief for family
members who may be responsible for the ongoing care of their
loved one and gives them that needed “time off” to
reenergize. It also provides the opportunity for you to get to
know us!
For these reasons,
Huntington Place
provides a safe home-like environment for respite stay in our
assisted living and memory and advanced care homes. Included in
our respite stay would be a furnished apartment, three
home-cooked meals, 24-hour care, activities, housekeeping,
laundry and bed linen service, plus we provide medication
administration for your loved one. The assisted living fee
is $150/day and the memory and advanced care fee is $175/day.
Fees are prepaid for a determined amount of days the resident
intends to stay. Also, a security deposit of $1000 is
required and refunded within 21 days after vacancy. If any
portion of the deposit is withheld,
Huntington Place
will provide an itemized statement describing any damages and
accounting for any amount withheld.
